This program is seeking volunteers who can work various afternoon or evening shifts as listed as available. The responsibilities of this volunteer assignment include answering Weaver House desk telephone calls, handling the Weaver House entrance doors, letting Weaver House residents (only) in to the building during afternoon shifts, assisting with meal service at night (as or when needed) for the evening shifts and other tasks as assigned. All volunteers must be able to work their entire shift that is accepted on a weekly/permanent basis. This opening includes both standing and sitting during the shift.

This program seeks volunteers who can respond to phone calls and handle the front lobby desk area for clients/in-person inquiries.

These involve some standing and some sitting during the entire volunteer shift. All volunteers must be able to work weekly/permanently and work the entire shift accepted.

For volunteer opportunities, the available shifts are: 

Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays  

8:30am to 1:30pm

1:00pm to 5:00pm

Volunteers must be flexible to help in whichever area is needed during their volunteer shift: door monitoring, bagging, produce or dry goods sorting, client choice assistance, etc. Volunteers must be available to work the volunteer opening that they choose during the entire shift and every week/permanently on a consistent basis. Volunteers in this lunchtime program must be flexible to assist wherever needed: rolling up eating utensils, preparing "to-go" boxes, helping distribute meals/water at the take- out window, making sandwiches for week end lunches, etc. These opportunities involve 100% standing during the entire volunteer shift.
